We are happy to announce that Assam Chess Club is all set to organise the 3rd RGS INDIA OPEN INTERNATIONAL RATING CHESS TOURNAMENT 2019 from 6th to 12th October 2019 at Royal Global School, Guwahati, Assam, India.

This year we have broken our own record by putting up a prize money of Rs 10,000,00/- (Ten Lakhs) which makes it the highest ever prize money chess tournament in the entire north east India. Previously in the year 2014 & 2015 we had conducted the same torunament with Prize Money of Rs 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) which was the highest prize money tourament so far.

Also this year we are offering boarding and lodging to all outstation PARTICIPANTS and free lunch to all participants during the event!

We are also ensuring that maximum foreign federation participate in this event and have RECEIVED CONFIRMATION from 8 countries so far and expect another 15 countries to register for the event.
