We at the FIDE Education Commission are passionate about using chess as an educational tool. Game-based learning is our mantra: it provides intrinsic motivation, improves critical thinking, and helps build social skills.
Chess is a wonderful game. The more you study chess the better you will play. This much you already know. What may come as a surprise is that you can also study some school subjects through chess. Come and do some exercises and investigations related to literacy, mathematics, history, geography and even art with us!

All activities are available both in English and in Hungarian.
