Something is not quite right.

A giant chessboard stretches across the Hungarian National Gallery. Its lines extend beyond the familiar 8×8 – yet every piece remains within the original 64 squares.

Why?

The extra squares are within reach. Still, the grandmasters choose not to use them - or will they?

Because a game begins not with a move, but with an agreement.

Today, we can speak, post, share and react without visible boundaries. But does ‘’I can”  always mean “I should”?

“The 65th square” is a provocative exploration of freedom, responsibility and the rules we choose to respect – even when nobody is watching.

The board offers possibilities. You choose your move.
