Visual artist Daniel Labrosse will be painting live at the Judit Polgar Global Chess Festival. His artwork will feature a large chessboard where every piece is completely different from the one next to it. Each represents a different culture, era, or way of playing the game. Together, they show how many different people and ways of playing make up the world of chess. The artwork also encourages us to look at the world from different perspectives – because critical thinking begins when we are able to see the same thing from another point of view.
