Since 2018, Schiermonnikoog can call itself the first and only isle of chess in the world. Something the Dutch islanders are very proud of.

The sixth edition of Lytje Willem's Grand Prix for youth will take place on Saturday the 14th of October. In hotel Van der Werff, the oldest and most famous hotel at Schiermonnikoog (where the bitterballen are the best...).

On Sunday, October 15th, there will be a battle on the dance floor of the famous Tox Bar at Schiermonnikoog, during the parent-child tournament.
